Wise Owl Dream Catcher

Native traditions have believed in Dream Catchers to be “Sacred Hoops” for many years. Bad or negative dreams are caught and trapped in the webbing, while positive dreams pass through the holes, float down the strings, and travel from the feathers to the person sleeping. 

Even though hanging this on a bed post or near where you slumber is purposeful, traditionally, in order to penetrate and transfer energy best, hang your dream catcher 4 feet above where you sleep, on a  nail at a 45 degree angle.

With experiencing many nightmares, or negative energies, consider wafting your dream catcher (webbing) with sage to clear clogged and trapped bad dreams.

In a situation where you feel overwhelmed, or need a break from your dream catcher, you can always lay it down on a flat surface until you are ready to hang back up.

The wise owl is most often known to represent keen observation and sharp vision. Spiritually, owls are seen to encourage our deeper connection with good judgement, knowledge and transition.
